Explore a dense forest labyrinth and find lost friends while avoiding fairy monsters to escape from the magical curse.

Description

Enchanted Forest Labyrinth is a third-person platformer game where Warbler must find her lost friends and look for a way out of the forest labyrinth. Along the way, she’ll need to jump across platforms, solve puzzles, and avoid the evil fairies and other creatures that have trapped her and her friends. Once she finds all of her friends, she can escape the forest and return home.

The goal was to make a platformer game that focuses on friendship. I really wanted to make this maze confusing to be in, so I didn’t include a mini-map. I was trying to emulate the experience of feeling lost, but wanted the player to still be determined enough to continue their search to find their friends, so I designed it in a way where no matter which path they take at the start, they will be led to one of their friends and not a dead end. I learned a lot about making games during this.
